SEAL Team season 2 episode 17 video: Why is Sonny so happy?
How much should you be sweating entering this episode? Let’s just say that you probably should have a cloth on standby just in case. Yet, we’ve seen already this season with Sonny already that this is a show that likes to bring you close to the edge of despair only to then back away and give you a moment to breathe. It’s possible that this could happen again in this episode, and we’re especially worried about Ray. This is a guy who’s been on the edge for the better part of a couple of episodes and he’s not hanging out in the best of places.
Speaking about hanging out off-duty, that brings us to the sneak peek below! In this one, you can see Clay and Jason acting a little bit surprised that Sonny isn’t living large in the Philippines, partaking in some of the crazier stuff that the country has to offer. Depending on where you are in the country, there can be a bit of sensory overload — think in terms of cool places to visit and delicious food to eat. (There’s a lot of great content on there on the country, including an awesome episode of Parts Unknown currently on Netflix.)
Yet, Sonny’s being cool and not fully immersing himself in some of the nightlife and while he doesn’t fully explain why in this preview, we think the reasoning’s not altogether tough to figure out — this is a dude trying to stay loyal to Davis and build up that relationship into whatever it is going to be. While they’re in totally different spots of the world, we don’t think that they’re forgetting about each other. We appreciate that the writers aren’t forgetting about Davis, either, since they could’ve easily just opted to give you a few weeks off from Toni Trucks while everyone else keeps doing what they’re doing overseas. These stories are a tad disjointed because they’re taking on such different subject matter, but they may connect at some points you would not expect.
