‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: First look at episode 3

We’ve been through some pretty difficult times on “Grey’s Anatomy” as of late; with this in mind, isn’t it about time that you have something genuine to smile about? Let’s hope that this is where the third episode of the season comes into play.

In the promo below, it does at least look like we are in for a happier collection of scenes given some sort of desire by Shonda Rhimes to attempt to balance things out a little bit. Meredith and Derek are going to be more than a little bit romantic with each other, and they will not be the only ones; we are also about to see Jackson and April try to take things to another level, some more romance from Alec, and quite possibly a few moments for a few characters that you do not see coming.

Really, an injection of happiness feels like a necessity at this point given what some of these characters have been through. We still do not know whether or not Arizona is going to ever forgive Callie for amputating her leg (though Shonda Rhimes does make us have a little bit of hope), and we also are still a little bit unsure as to what precisely the future is going to hold for Cristina and Owen. Are they at separate hospitals at the moment? Yes, but this does not mean that it will stay this way forever. We are still in an ever-changing environment, in particular due to the fact that we have really only seen one episode of story so far and there realy is much to work with still.
