Supernatural season 14 finale spoilers: The battle of ‘Moriah’
Before we even get around to discussing this episode, though, let’s start things off with a larger discussion about the title and its own significance. Mount Moriah in Old City Jerusalem is an important location from the Bible. We see this title as the producers referencing a big, religious experience, one that will be thematically reflected through whatever sort of dramatic craziness that you see here. This is an episode that should hopefully deliver a feeling as though you are witnessing something historic, something shocking, and probably something quite violent.
Below, CarterMatt offers up the official Supernatural season 14 synopsis with some more news as to what’s coming up next:

This is the sort of episode that’s made so much more significant because of the final part of it. What sort of “old friend” from the past could be turning up and causing some problems? Is it the sort of person who could stick around for the season that follows, or is this a one-time dose of chaos where we’re left with the entire battlefield shaken?

Head over here for some of the latest conversation about season 15 being the final season of the show. Because of this news, we do think that the stakes for “Moriah” are perhaps higher than they would’ve been otherwise. Whatever is happening now, we do think that it is happening with a greater sense of purpose and drive than before. This is a show that after almost a decade and a half, finally has to be building towards a conclusion. Our excitement comes via seeing just how the writers conjure up the right way in which to say goodbye.
