STAR season 3 episode 14 preview: Star’s health starts to worsen
As we prepare to dive further into STAR season 3 episode 14, there is one thing that we know to be a relative certainty: Star is never going to have a drama-free existence. Think about everything that she’s gone through this season — and JUST this season! We’re not even focusing on anything else at the moment.
Yet, there are still more problems coming her way next week, mostly because of her health and the dangers that she’s going to face moving forward. That, in turn, is going to lead to some people close to her being forced to make some pretty-tough choices. We’ll see during this episode just what exactly that means, but our general feeling at the moment is that her fate will continue to hang in the balance through at least the next hour or two. We wouldn’t actually be altogether shocked if this is something that they try to resolve more in the finale.
On the other side of things, what’s going to happen with Alex on the other side of that surprise proposal? That provided some of the light and shade within this episode and it certainly serves as contrast. Alex will probably have some other things that are on her mind moving forward, but you probably should believe and then some that she’s not going to be forgetting about tonight.

Carlotta and Gravity throw a Legend Tribute concert to campaign for the ASA Awards. When Star’s health takes a turn for the worse, Simone is put in a difficult decision. Meanwhile, Alex attempts to trust her family again, Cassie and Maurice’s relationship reaches new heights and Noah grapples with his reality after a visit from his mother, Dianne (guest star Kimberly Elise). Gigi (guest star Keke Palmer) makes a career changing choice and Cassie takes matters into her own hands with her father in the all-new “Amazing Grace” episode of STAR airing Wednesday, April 10th on FOX.
The promo does offer up a little bit more insight as to what’s coming, including just how jam-packed and emotional this upcoming story is going to be. As we near the end of this episode, we’re going to see some people forced into tough spots and having to make difficult choices in order for characters to get to the next season happy — and also feeling like they have some other options as to what their future could hold. Everyone wants options, and everyone wants to also make it to the other side and get a little slice of happiness — something that, more than likely, they’ve all been craving for some time.
