NCIS: Los Angeles, Madam Secretary delayed (again) by NCAA basketball
Because of the showdown between Michigan State and Duke tonight, you’ll have to wait until we get around to 9:16 p.m. Eastern time to see NCIS: Los Angeles; meanwhile, Madam Secretary will be starting 16 minutes later itself at 10:16. God Friended Me is already on the air, but it also started late. The good news is that this is a little bit earlier than the super-long delay that we had last time. That should help the ratings for at least Madam Secretary, which had the challenge of airing fairly-close to midnight on this past week.

So what are you waiting around for? Think in terms of some emotional, powerful hours that are about key characters and resolving some old threads. NCIS: Los Angeles has had a lot on its plate for quite some time now. Meanwhile, Madam Secretary has long been mired in the will-she-announce storyline when it comes to Elizabeth McCord and her future. We know that she wants to run for President so really at this point, the #1 question you have to wonder is whether or not we’re going to see her announce by the end of the season. Every episode is another inch forward as the show looks to get a little bit closer to that final goal. It’s ambitious, exciting, and one that we’re certainly looking forward to seeing and celebrating.
For now, though, let’s just cross our fingers that some of these episodes will start airing at the right time the rest of the season. The good news is that we’re almost at the end of the NCAA Tournament and by the time we get around to the next episodes following this one on April 14, basketball will be over — at least of the college kind and the one that is airing on CBS. The NBA’s going to be going on for a while still, but that league comes about on ABC — when it’s airing on national television in the first place.
