STAR season 3 episode 13 video: Star’s fight for survival
Next week, STAR season 3 episode 13 is bringing you an episode entitled “Reckoning” — one that could easily be boiled down to just one sentence. Star is fighting for her life. She’s not dead yet, but it’s sure not looking good entering this episode.
For more evidence, just look at the promo below — it doesn’t illuminate a whole lot beyond the crisis at present, but it’s obviously one where the stress is HIGH. You don’t see Star in a pool of blood and think “oh, so this is totally going to be okay.” More than likely, you see this as a signal to press some sort of panic button, knowing full well that this could be the end of her life. Or, we’d think this in the event that this was real life. In the TV world, though, there’s this whole nine-lives sort of factor that comes into play. We don’t think Star is going to die on a show named after her — even if you could make the argument that the show’s about characters becoming stars and with that in mind, there’s some connectivity there. We just foresee this being a cause to be concerned, get invested, and then see
Below, check out the STAR season 3 episode 13 synopsis with more news as to what lies ahead — just in case you want some updates about a number of other stories as to what’s coming up next:
Under Mateo’s hand, Gravity Media’s finances are in the gutter and the team must pull off a successful ASA party to get back in the game. Carlotta returns and jumps right back into cleaning up everyone’s mess. Cassie closes in on Xander (guest star Chad Michael Murray) and digs into the past, after her father’s bombshell. Meanwhile, Simone watches over Star as Noah wrestles with his demons, and Alex and GiGi’s (guest star Keke Palmer) rivalry takes a new turn.
Within this episode, we’re expecting a lot of twists that are totally unrelated to the Star crisis, mostly because this is a show that likes to give you a lot of different things. Carlotta’s going to be on clean-up duty, Noah’s going to be struggling, and we could see some battles end in some unexpected ways. A party of the fun for us with a show like this is seeing rivals become friends and friends become rivals — even if it doesn’t happen on this particular episode, we definitely think that it’s something that could go down a little bit further down the road. There’s still a good chunk of the season left — at least when you consider the total number of episodes as a whole — and that could mean a chance to see a few more shake-ups before everything comes to a close in May. (Of course, we only mean for now; it’ll likely be renewed.)
