The Resident season 2 episode 19 preview: The story of ‘Snowed In’

Right when some of America is starting to get out of the snow, it seems like The Resident is going to be throwing you right into it! The story of season 2 episode 19, entitled “Snowed In,” is going to be all about some of the characters dealing with horrible weather — and proving that they know how to flex some of their medical muscles amidst some pretty horrible conditions. The injuries that they’re going to be seeing are different, as you would expect. There’s a certain brand of crazy stuff that happens during snowstorms and you’re going to have to brace for some of it.

Beyond the snowstorm, rest assured that there’s going to be some fascinating stuff elsewhere. The proof comes courtesy of the full The Resident season 2 episode 19 synopsis below:

When Atlanta is struck by a severe snowstorm, Mina must perform a big surgery – without the help of The Raptor – to save the life of a young father, while Kit and Bell get stuck babysitting the man’s children. Nic and Conrad experience a disagreement with a patient’s treatment, causing further strain in their relationship. Meanwhile, Devon teaches an important lesson about life and death to a first-year med student in the all-new “Snowed In” episode of THE RESIDENT airing Monday, April 1 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. What’s worth getting excited about when it comes to this episode? For us, there is something super-endearing about the idea of seeing Kit and Dr. Bell having some adventures in babysitting. Maybe it brings them closer together! For Conrad and Nic, however, they run the risk of falling further apart. These two characters do clearly care about each other, but their problem mostly lies beneath mountains of baggage and it’s really tough for them to emerge from the other side of that. They’re going to keep trying, but there’s no effective guarantee that they will ever have that consistent, peaceful vibe that you often want from a relationship.

What’s not worth getting excited about is know that we only have four more episodes this season and that the producers of The Resident are probably going to make us have a hiatus at some point in there as well. (It does actually seem like “Snowed In” is the last new episode for at least the next couple of weeks, so prepare to check it out with this in mind.)
