This Is Us season 3 episode 14 spoilers: Will Beth open a dance studio?

What is going to lie ahead for Beth on This Is Us season 3 episode 14, let alone for the rest of this season? Well, we know that there’s a studio on the horizon. It’s something that we’ve seen in flash-forwards and with that, it seems like something we are building towards.

Yet, it does appear at the moment that the show’s taking a rather slow-and-steady approach to some of this. Given that Beth just presumably got a job at the dance studio you saw at the end of the episode, it’s going to take some time to where she makes it to a position of larger power. In some ways, we just think that it’s a relief to know that this new career pursuit ends up being a success for her. It’s certainly a different sort of situation with this than what we’re used to with this show, given that we usually see flash-forwards more as a sign of someone’s impending doom. We do appreciate and welcome the writers finding a way to mix things up with some of these stories.

Speaking in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, here is some of what Susan Kelechi Watson had to say on the subject of what’s next:

We start with her working at the dance studio that she practiced in. That will be the next thing that we will see, the excitement of that, but also dealing with how that affects the family and what we have to do now and all the changes that have to be made. It’s very promising for me playing Beth, knowing, “Okay, this is going to work out well,” because we see in the flash-forwards that that studio wasn’t too shabby. We’ll see how she gets there, but for now, we just start with her teaching.

There is one other important Beth-related story at the moment that you also have to think about, mostly when it comes to the future of her relationship with Randall. We’re a little bit more hopeful about it now than we once were, but that doesn’t mean that they are out of the woods just yet.
