Victoria season 3 episode 7 preview: Where allegiances lie

Victoria season 3 episode 7 is set to arrive on PBS this weekend, and as we approach this episode, it’s fair to wonder one thing: How are we so close to the end of this season already? It seemed like only yesterday that this batch of episodes kicked off and now, we’re looking towards the end of the road. There’s no word on a season 4 yet, but we’re certainly excited for what’s coming up.

The strangest thing here still is that with the finale so close to coming up, the show still hasn’t premiered on ITV. It’s a British series that, at the same time, has yet to air a new episode on ITV. It’s certainly a strange situation — especially since British networks are already forced to wait for American shows all of the time.

Albert and Palmerston put their reputations on the line, and Victoria must fight against her better judgement to decide where to place her allegiance.

So what are we going to see over the course of the episode? Think along the lines of some difficult political battles and something that will push Albert to the limit. We’re just hoping that, by the end of this episode, there will a chance to get some more answers and information on the story ahead. We know what’s in the historical record, but at the same time, this show does a great job of filling in some of the cracks. We’re getting an even better sense of what makes certain people tick and some of the conflicts the characters are routinely dealing with from start to finish.

On the other side of this, we at least know that Victoria will still be on the crown and that she and Albert will find a way to move forward. They have to find a way to take on the struggles of the world together.
