Chicago Fire season 7 episode 15 video: The lockbox problem

Chicago Fire season 7

Chicago Fire season 7 episode 15 on Wednesday night is going to kick off something new, and something awesome: An epic crossover! You will see some characters within the Fire world working with Voight and Intelligence … but that’s not necessarily what the sneak peek below is about.

Instead, the video below revolves around a difficult situation for Casey and most of firehouse 51 after they arrive on the scene of an apartment fire. It’s the sort of blaze that requires all of them to act quickly — for those of you who have an eagle eye, odds are you will appreciate the return of a certain Slamigan in here! There’s a lot of danger that 51 is going to run into here, and it’s made all the more challenging by a problem with the lockbox. After all, it’s empty!

What’s going on here? This is where the sneak peek could relate to the crossover, as there are some other firefighters (or, at least one firefighter) who may be out to commit a string of robberies. This is where the police department is going to be looking to someone in Joe Cruz to go undercover in order to get some more answers. Hopefully, they will figure out some way in order to get them with his help. We don’t get too many big crossovers a season (think in terms of two or, at the most, three), so we have to enjoy them whenever they turn out.

Of course, this episode of Chicago Fire should have a lot to enjoy for you even if you don’t watch the entire franchise. Firehouse politics will be a part of it, as will be the trust that exists between the police and fire department. While they have at times a friendly rivalry, we have to think that when the chips are down, they are going to be there for each other. After all, they certainly have been in the past. Whether or not this is the final crossover this season remains to be seen, but provided the show is renewed (which seems likely), we could have more chances to see fun stuff play out in the future.
