Suits season 8 episode 15 video: Donna, Harvey on the brink

What are we getting set to see? Well, for starters, Donna’s relationship with Thomas Kessler is progressing, and Harvey is having to accept that … if he’s even able to. That’s why Donna questions him about it. While the two don’t always overtly discuss potential feelings, we think that on some level, they both realize that they are there. They’re just not always on the same exact page at the same exact time.
The challenge entering this episode is that Donna may have to choose between Kessler and then also the firm for a decision that could impact all of them, and it’s the end result of this that could create a ripple effect for Harvey and everyone else. This is something that clearly she’s going to agonize about — you see her discuss that in a phone call in the attached promo. She knows that no matter where she turns, she could end up hurting someone she cares about. It’s an inevitability behind what she’s doing, but she may be also at a point where she wants to secure her future. She likes Kessler, and may want to move forward with him in a substantial way.
There’s one more interesting thing worth noting — the title of the finale is “Harvey.” That feels almost like a bookend to the season 7 midseason finale entitled “Donna.” Whether that’s intentional or not remains to be seen, but we think the producers had to know on some level that viewers would draw parallels there. Whatever happens in episode 15, more than likely, bleeds over to the finale and we’re very much excited to take all of that on.
