For now, can we go ahead and say that we’re super-grateful that there is already a season 9 renewal on the other side? Even though that may be the final season of the drama, at least we know for sure that there’s some sort of closure coming and we don’t have to sweat things out and wait for any news on the series’ future after the finale. That is something, after all, that we are subjected to with some other shows.

Donna’s relationship complicates a deal for Harvey and Alex. Samantha helps Louis get justice.
When it comes to the relationship between Donna and Thomas Kessler, it really only felt like it was a matter of time before we saw something like this happen — after all, how could it not? Typically within the world of Suits personal and professional relationships get complicated and conflicts almost always arise. We just hope that everyone finds a way to figure things out — we want Donna to be happy, though we’ll also be the first to admit that we’re still firmly in the camp that there’s something there between Donna and Harvey. We do want there to be something great for them, of course, by the end of the series.
As for what we’re going to be seeing for Samantha and Louis, we’re hoping that it’s one of the more epic team-ups that we’ve had a chance to see with this show. One of the cool things that does come with getting Samantha into a position of name partner is some of the other characters can see just how effective she is. While she doesn’t exactly have a lot when it comes to bedside manner, she excels at finding a way to solve problems — even some of the ones that, on paper, feel almost impossible. This could be a good relationship that we could see explored in the future.
