Lucifer season 4: Tom Ellis, cast gather for secret mission

If you look below via the official Instagram of series regular Aimee Garcia, you can see her alongside Tom Ellis and the rest of the cast, working alongside Netflix on some sort of secret project. More than likely, this is the sort of thing that the streaming service is going to use in order to promote the upcoming season, whether it be a premiere-date announcement video or some other sort of tease for what lies ahead.
If the Lucifer cast’s assignment today was related to the show’s promotion, it makes perfect sense to use the cast at the center of it. Why is that? Well, there’s such a close connection between the cast and fans — they all worked together to save the show, and the cast has also went out to various conventions in order to meet many viewers in different parts of the world.
What’s also notable about the cast getting back together right now is that the show hasn’t actually been filming for a little while! Production wrapped near the end of 2018 and since that time, we’ve seen many of them travel and take on some other things. We’re hoping that there is going to be a chance to see a season 5 down the road, but for now, nothing is confirmed on that. (If Netflix does renew it, we wouldn’t be shocked if they released a new video featuring some of the cast announcing the big news.)
Ultimately, we imagine that there are going to be all sorts of exciting stuff on Lucifer season 4 — whether it be the arrival of a new character in Eve or the aftermath of last season’s big Lucifer-related cliffhanger. There are ten new episodes coming, and they should be available all at once.
