If you do want some more insight right now as to what lies ahead on MacGyver season 3 episode 16, we would suggest that you check out the official synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below:
“Lidar + Rogues + Duty” – The Phoenix must recover the body of a pilot whose plane crashed while testing an experimental laser mapping system that MacGyver designed. Also, Riley tries to identify the hacker who tricked a SWAT team into arresting her and Elwood, on MACGYVER, Friday, Feb. 22 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
The return of Billy Baldwin is one of the bigger selling points of this synopsis to us, and we do certainly wonder if the show could be a little more reliant on him now for that father-figure role. Jack often stepped into that part for Riley but with him gone, her biological dad may need to step up. With that said, we also think that it’s going to be important that we get some other characters who show up with a preexisting relationship with Jack — think in terms of Oversight, his father. We also do think that it would be fun to see Nikki again, but that feels unlikely given the fact that Tracy Spiridakos is now firmly entrenched when it comes to the story on Chicago PD.
Hopefully, MacGyver season 3 episode 16 continues to show that this show delivers on some fascinating storytelling that only it can. We do think that it’s fascinating that one of the focal points of this upcoming episode is a piece of technology that Mac himself is responsible with. How is he going to feel about the death of a pilot because, potentially, of his own tech?
