A Million Little Things episode 16 preview: A look at ‘The Rosary’

Curious to know what’s coming on A Million Little Things episode 16? First and foremost, it’s worth noting that the finale is near! The big conclusion of this season is coming in just a couple of weeks but in seven days’ time, we’re going to have a chance to see “The Rosary.” Whatever happens here will lead into the finale, which could offer up some sort of closure surrounding Jon’s death. As her friends anxiously await the outcome of Maggie’s surgery, an unexpected arrival from her mother leads to a tense first meeting with Gary.

So what are we expecting on this episode from start to finish? Well, we’re thinking that Maggie’s surgery will be front and center for most of it, but that there will be some surprising twists and turns that surround it. One of the real keys to success for a show like this is to deliver a few things that are expected, but then also surround those with a few things that are not. You want to constantly find a way to deliver an element of surprise, and maybe some of what you see here can be used in order to set up the second season down the road. The finale may serve to better set the foundation for that, but why not go ahead and strike while the iron’s hot? It is a good way, if nothing else, to start to set the foundation for some of what you want the future to be.

We’d go ahead and tell you now to bust out some handkerchiefs and prepare yourself, but we’ve got a good feeling that you are doing that already if you love this show. You’ve had a good chance to really know what it’s all about over the course of the past several months. This is a story about the ups and downs people face in life, and how they find a way to rally against some of the darkness. There are a lot of hurdles, but also opportunities for people to overcome them.
