Arrow season 7 episode 14 return date hopes on The CW
Let’s start things off with what we know for sure — there is no new episode next week or the week after. A good many of the network’s shows are going to be taking the last two weeks of February off, and the same goes for the Stephen Amell series.
So when could you actually see Arrow back on the air with new episodes? All signs at the moment point towards a return date on Monday, March 4 — that date has not been confirmed as of yet, but it should be tonight after the new episode wraps. The CW tends to run episodes of many of their series in the form of arcs — they’ll do a handful of episodes, a hiatus, and then another handful. This works for them since it does allow many of their shows to have momentum. However, at the same time it also gives them some breathing room and helps to ensure that they have new episodes on the air until we get around to May sweeps.
As for what we’re hoping to see on the show before the end of the season, we do think that Arrow should be building something a little bit more traditional. While we do think that season 7 has been a nice step up in quality from much of season 6, it does still have a little ways to go before it will be back to what it was during its peak (which, to us, was season 2). We do think that it would be entertaining to have a run of episodes coming up where you had a chance to see the show come closer to its original form — almost a back-to-basics approach.
At least, for now, we know that the end for Arrow is not going to be coming anytime in the near future. The show already has a season 8 renewal; the next major thing to worry about is the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover event this fall. After all, there’s a chance that this could claim the life of a major character from one of these shows. Given what’s in the source material, the show will have to match that in some way.
