After a brief hiatus, Hawaii Five-0 season 9 episode 15 is arriving on CBS Monday night. What’s at the center of this story? Think a hurricane … and also a dangerous fugitive that is out in the middle of it.

We don’t think that we have to say how dangerous a storm like this is — there’s no real escape from it when you’re out in the islands, and there are only a few things that you can do to try to keep yourself safe. Obviously, the one thing that you should avoid is going out into the middle of the pouring rain and wind … and that may still be what the Five-0 chooses to do after a prisoner ends up escaping. This is a dangerous dude and with that, trying to find him becomes the top priority.
So where could a guy like this go in a storm of this magnitude? That’s a good question, but Steve McGarrett clearly seems uninterested in the notion of letting the storm take this guy — in his eyes, that’s too easy a fate for him.
While we know the hiatus this past Friday stunk, the good news if you love Hawaii Five-0 is that there are a lot of stories coming soon! There are three installments, in fact, coming over the course of the next few weeks. You’re going to have a chance to see on February 22 two separate installments over the course of the same hour. Isn’t there a lot to love about that? We like to think so. Consider this episode a way to kick-start the great run that is coming; one of the two episodes airing on the 22nd is directed by none other than Alex O’Loughlin. He should be getting used more to that role now, given that this is the second installment that he’s tackled.
