America’s Got Talent: The Champions finale video: Deadly Games is back

America's Got Talent: The Champions

On Monday night’s America’s Got Talent: The Champions finale, you’re going to be seeing the return of Deadly Games! They are the most dangerous act taking part in the show at this point, and they’re certainly going to live up to their billing.

In the sneak peek below from Monday’s episode, you can get a small sense of what we’re talking about here as you can see the two of them deliver what is one of the most jam-packed performances from them that we’ve seen. What’s interesting about it is that in the early going, we saw a missed shot and then a machete that didn’t properly stick the landing; it showed the frailty of the act, and almost made it even more dangerous. From there, it simply got better and better as we saw the two of them bust out some of the craziest stuff that we’ve seen from them — including using a crossbow to shoot a balloon that was a moving target.

Then, Alfredo got the judges involved. All five of the judges, plus Terry Crews, all came out and had to hold a balloon in place while he lined up a single shot to go through all of them before eventually hitting a target on the other side. This was impressive, and there’s nothing we were entertained with more than seeing just how terrified he seemed to make all of the judges in the process. They were genuinely nervous through the entirety of this and understandably so! Anything could’ve happened clearly, but this was a successful finish to what was, overall, a very successful act.

Will Deadly Games win this season?

As someone who appreciates variety, we think that it would be fun; yet, as we say both in the video below and the article over here, it’s just hard to envision it given that danger acts never win this sort of show. While we’d certainly love to see them get some of the recognition they deserve, they almost have to enter the finale knowing that the real victory for them is going to be some of the performances that they are able to book after the fact following their time on this show. Perhaps more so than anything else, they should view America’s Got Talent: The Champions as a springboard for some other possibilities. We’re absolutely happy that they made it this far.
