The Blacklist season 6 episode 7 preview: ‘General Shiro’ expectations!

This installment is going to be one about manipulating the jury and also just finding another way in just for Reddington to survive. He wants to find a way to be safe and have a real future — prison’s just a temporary home for him. It’s not going to be easy.

02/15/2019 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Friday) : While Red (James Spader) and Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq) enlist Glenn’s (guest star Clark Middleton) help in stacking the jury to Red’s advantage for his upcoming trial, the Task Force investigates a series of mysterious deaths resulting from weaponized insects. Ken Leung, Becky Ann Baker and Mark Linn-Baker also guest star. TV-14 V

This episode isn’t going to be the last one of the whole Reddington – trial saga, but we certainly do think that it’s going to be an important one. In this end, this installment should prove rather essential in us getting a chance to learn, one way or another, if James Spader’s character will have more cards stacked against him. It’s so weird to think of a criminal mastermind as an underdog, but in the end, this is what it is.

We gotta admit that this is one of the few episodes in which the Task Force part of the story is as exciting to us as to what’s happening with Reddington. How could you not be intrigued by weaponized insects? It’s one of the weirdest stories that we’ve had a chance to see over the course of the show and were this not The Blacklist, we would say that it probably wouldn’t work out to be all that effective. This show just has that ability to be like a comic book sometimes with some of its colorful characters and dramatic twists and turns. While it’s a little bit weird, it’s also in part what makes it so exciting. For some people out there, we have a feeling that this could be like a horror movie.
