“Blues” – While off duty, Danny encounters a gas station robbery in progress and is forced to use his weapon, leaving him shaken and his family and co-workers concerned. Also, Eddie apprehends a turnstile jumper who pleads for leniency by offering information on a missing weapon that’s vital to one of Erin’s cases, and Frank learns that a top officer in his department has a dark past, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Feb. 15 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Obviously, Danny’s story is probably going to be at the forefront of things here given that he has to figure out a way to recover from what happens in the field. It’s probably one thing for him to have to use his weapon while working as a cop, but out in the field is a completely different story. He’s in a place there where he is a little more vulnerable and there is a chance that he is not going to be handle being himself in the aftermath of it.

As for what else is coming up here, it’s rather nice that we’re getting a little bit more insight in regards to Eddie’s story and what that character is up to — we don’t see any sort of direct collaboration between her and Erin all that often, and this could be an opportunity to check that out. With Frank, it’s a little bit of more of the same — he’s learned troublesome things about some of his cops before and the question that he needs to ask himself on the other side of it is really simple: Are these things an indictment of who someone is, or is there a little bit of something else underneath the surface. Is there an underlying reason or something that he can tap into?
