The Masked Singer episode 7 video: Everyone performs!

There is some pretty exciting news going into The Masked Singer episode 7 airing on Fox Wednesday night. After all, all six contestants are actually going to appear on the same show! This is the first time all season that we’ve had this, which means that you don’t have to wait a long stretch of time in order to see some of your favorites.

So what is going to happen with the top six? That’s a good question, and the new promo below doesn’t give all that much away. However, it does give a pretty good sense that the monster may have more flair than anyone when it comes to unique costumes. He is still our favorite to go fairly far into the competition, maybe all the way to the end. For starters, he has an incredible voice. Also, he sings songs that are a little bit surprising and he is one of the few contestants left that there is a significant element of surprise about.

There is another way in which to look at the monster that is also fairly interesting in the context of the judging. Before we dive into it, this is your warning that there are possible spoilers ahead.

If you look at the majority of the contestants, the judges have, at one point or another, likely guessed most of them.  The majority of the internet seems to believe that Donny Osmond is the peacock, that LaToya Jackson is alien, that Joey Fatone is the rabbit, and that Gladys Knight is the bee.  the only two masked singers that the judges may not have guessed correctly at this point are The lion and the monster. These are, fittingly, the two that we may not have been able to guess where it not for the sleuths that are out there online.

At this point in the show’s run, you’re really better off just trying to avoid the guessing game of it all. Most of the people left are legitimately good singers, so you might as well just dive in and celebrate the fun of many of these performances.

With that being said, we do think that the alien will probably be the next one to go just on the quality of the performances so far. She’s really the only one left who has faced some significant questions as to whether or not she is a professional singer. That is kind of sad and ironic, given that the Jackson family is one of the most iconic singing families of all time.
