‘New Girl’ season 2, episode 3 preview: Nick as Jess’ ‘fluffer’

On Tuesday night’s new episode of “New Girl,” we are going to be seeing plenty of just about what every fan of this show likes: plenty of teases when it comes to the relationship between Nick and Jess.

So what is the name of the game this time? Really, it is revolving largely around the notion that Nick is constantly serving as the “fluffer” to Zooey Deschanel’s character whenever she gets in trouble; namely, that he has to deal with all of her emotional problems while some other guy deals with having a physical relationship. in other words, he is getting the short end of the stick.

But does Nick really want a physical relationship with his roommate? In the video below, he at least pretends that there are about a million other things that he would rather be doing than being with Jess. However, his chemistry with her tells us otherwise! Unfortunately, we do already know that both characters are going to continue to be interested in dating other people, and are not going to be hooking up at any point in at least the near future. Will the two end up getting together again in some sort of serious relationship? Probably, but for the time being, let’s just cherish every cute moment as it happens between these two.
