Tonight on America’s Got Talent: The Champions, we had a chance to see Terry Crews’ Golden Buzzer used for the first time! This was the final Golden Buzzer of the season, and it certainly matters since it accounts for half of the results.

So who did Terry decide to grant this to in the end? Think in terms of the ultimate unicorn in Kseniya Simonova. She is a sand artist who was on the Ukrainian version of the show, and there are really not too many people who have been on the series quite like her. She’s a storyteller just as much as she is an artist and that is something that this particular performance got a chance to show.
If there is one thing that we wish the show did better for her, it is giving us a consistent camera angle on what she was doing as opposed to just constantly moving back to some different angles. We didn’t really need to see so many different vantage points on this throughout — just watching her work was an experience in itself.
We know that this is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but we knew that there was something tear-inducing from watching her tell this story of a person who found fame at the expense of losing much of everything else that they had.
Now, we think that we’re going to have a great chance to see what Simonova brings to the table in the finale — we’re hoping that it’s something super-unique and special, though obviously, we won’t get a chance to fully know until the finale. She may not be a universal choice, but we absolutely think that she is a strong choice and a super-memorable act.
