Head of Household Tamar Braxton officially nominated Tom Green and Kato Kaelin for eviction this afternoon, which is what everyone in the known world predicted. Is this the best move for them? Probably, but mostly due to the fact that everyone in the house wants Tom and Kato out. We do think that there are bigger threats to win the game including Natalie Eva Marie and Ricky Williams, but doing this would probably put a much larger target on her back. Also, Kato gave her a personal reason to target him based on what happened a little bit earlier this season and that’s not something she was going to forget about.
Have Tom and Kato thrown in the towel? We’re not sure that they have, but Tom certainly doesn’t seem that eager to keep playing the game. The Power of Veto is taking place tomorrow during the air show and they’ve got another chance then. Until that point, it just seems like everyone is going to keep their distance from each other — at least when it comes to Tom/Kato versus just about everyone else. Tom and Kato seem to be as worried about their reputation as anything; they were afraid that Tamar was going to say something damaging to them in her speech, but it doesn’t quite seem like that happened.
The one thing that we hope is that within the next few days, the mood of the house changes given that for now, things just feel pretty negative in there — that energy is something that has been spoken about in some post-show interviews and we do wonder if that could deter some other celebrities from doing the show at some point down the line.
If the nominations do stay the same, more than likely Kato will leave. If the remaining people were wise, they’d try to use Tom for a little while.
