Dynasty season 2 episode 13 preview: Cristal & Blake’s surprise
Before we dive too much into that, let’s kick things off with some great news — we are going to be seeing a third season of the show! This was confirmed by The CW at their TCA Winter Press Tour on Thursday and while this initially may have been a surprise to some, it certainly did not come as a shock to us for a multitude of reasons. For starters, the ratings for season 2 were more or less even with the first season. Beyond just that, this show has an enormous international following and also a great streaming deal over at Netflix at the same time. It’s a show that has a lot of different ways in which it can make money and with that in mind, there’s no reason for the network to get rid of it.
Now that we’ve spelled all of that out, let’s move into talking about a story — one that is going to feature some battles between Fallon and Culhane, and at the same time Cristal and Blake realizing that they’re going to be in for a few surprises. This show is going to be the same as we’ve seen over the past year and a half — while the show has already been renewed, don’t expect the producers to pick their foot off of the gas. It’s going to be as dramatic, as crazy, and as surprising as you’ve ever seen it.

FAMILY MATTERS – Cristal (Ana Brenda Contreras) and Blake (Grant Show) have a surprise visitor show up who threatens to unravel their relationship, while Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) goes to war with Culhane (Robert Christopher Riley) when he becomes a power player at Carrington Atlantic. Nicollette Sheridan, Rafael de la Fuente, Maddison Brown, Alan Dale and Sam Adegoke also star. Christopher Fife and Jay Gibson wrote the episode, which was directed by Viet Nguyen (#213). Original airdate 2/8/2019.
By the end of this episode, we expect at least a few different things to be different than they were the week before. If that doesn’t happen, we’re going to be rather disappointed at the end of the day.
