Gotham season 5 episode 6 return date for Ben McKenzie, cast
Want to know the Gotham season 5 episode 6 return date on Fox, along with some scoop for what’s ahead? We have plenty of discussion on both things within!
Let’s start things off here with this: There is no new episode of the show next week, as Fox is currently opting to air a repeat of the premiere. It’s a bit of an odd move given the fact that we’re in the middle of February sweeps, but we gotta assume that they have some sort of plan here.
While waiting for new episodes is not exactly ideal, at the same time there’s a lot to look forward to. For example, the show’s February 14 episode will feature the return of Morena Baccarin as Lee Thompkins and, beyond just that, allow us an opportunity to see the world Jim Gordon shaken up in a super-dramatic way. It’s also being directed by Ben McKenzie, and will give you a chance to see Magpie — one of the few famous Batman villains who hasn’t had all that much of a spotlight to date.
Below, CarterMatt has the official Gotham season 5 episode 6 synopsis with some more news as to what’s coming up next:
Gordon assembles an unlikely team to protect Gotham from Eduardo Dorrance (guest star Shane West) and his Delta Force. Just as Lee Thompkins resurfaces, Barbara reveals shocking news that will change Gordon’s life forever. Meanwhile, Selina and Penguin team up to outsmart fellow villain Magpie (guest star Sarah Schenkkan) in the all-new “13 Stitches” episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, Feb. 14 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (GTH-506) (TV-14 L,V)
As we move along into this episode, we imagine that there are going to continue to be some more surprises and twists that we don’t see coming. That’s the Gotham way, for starters, and most of them will probably revolve around evolution. This is one of the fun things about this show — they often do find a way in which to get you excited about stories even when you know how most of them are already going to end. We cannot exactly say that there are any twists endings coming for the likes of Bruce, Selina, and Oswald — you know where we’re going. A part of the fun at the moment is simply going to be getting there.
Ultimately, there are still seven episodes left in the final season — including one that is also written by McKenzie. They have certainly been rather busy on the final season!
