New Shadowhunters season 3 trailer coming tomorrow; rejoice!

Today, Freeform confirmed that the trailer is going to be officially upon us come tomorrow — its contents remain a mystery, but we got a feeling that there’s a lot of exceptional content that will be in there from start to finish. Think in terms of some teases about Malec’s future, Clary’s whereabouts after the huge cliffhanger, and some new threats that are facing our favorite characters. We wouldn’t be shocked if Luke Baines makes an appearance as the new Jonathan, or if we get a sighting of Lilith in some shape or form.
Of course, it is rather tough to predict specifics given that the trailer is plucking material from a dozen different episodes, but we know how hard the producers, writers, cast, and crew have worked in order to make these upcoming episodes awesome. This was a labor of love for these people and they poured their heart and soul into it. We’re sure that they would’ve loved to keep going with more episodes but if this ends up being the end, they likely wanted to make sure it ends with a bang. We’ve got a lot of content that the series will deliver the goods.
The only real thing we’re hoping for is that the trailer is longer than just 30-45 seconds. Typically, we define a “trailer’ as anything more than a minute, just to create some sort of actual differentiation between this and a promo.

Of course, we’ll be sharing the trailer for anyone who wants to check it out on the site, but beyond just that, we’ll also be sharing some early reactions and discussing our overall level of excitement for whatever is coming up in these episodes. We’ve all been a part of this Shadowhunters world for years now, and we’re ready to see the journey through and get excited for whatever the writers bring our way. We’re sure that there will be some drama, a little bit of romance, and moments that lead our heart on the floor.
