The unfortunate news at the moment is clear: The show isn’t going to be back on CBS tonight. More than that, it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be back next week either. Despite it looking initially like the show was going to have a new episode on February 5 featuring a guest appearance from LeVar Burton, the network is going to be delaying that due to the State of the Union. CBS has the official broadcast of the Presidential Address airing from 9:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Eastern time next week.
CBS has yet to confirm full scheduling details for some of their upcoming episodes, but basically the delay in new episodes means that you’ll have more episodes a little later in the year as opposed to getting one of them next week. Don’t look at this as the show losing an episode by any means; NCIS: New Orleans is effectively going to have the same episode order that they’ve always had; they just have some more speed bumps.

We don’t want you to read this article without getting a little bit of information as to what’s coming up, and we have some more insight on another big Hannah Khoury storyline a little bit later this season. The series newcomer will find herself in a precarious position in an upcoming episode where some of her time out in the field could be used against her — basically, she could find herself the subject of blackmail. To be more specific, this will be tied to a mission that she was a part of in Oman.
So what happened during this mission? More than likely this is something that this upcoming episode will disclose a little bit further, but we do think that it will provide a great backdrop for some more episodes of television coming up at some point in the future.
