Is The Blacklist new tonight on NBC? Why it’s off the air
So why is this happening? Based on NBC’s scheduling tonight, the easy explanation is figure skating — but, for those of you who are looking for additional information on why TV shows take hiatuses in general, we have a video below explaining why this is happening. As for what will be coming when The Blacklist returns, the simple answer to that is even more chaos courtesy of one Raymond Reddington. At the end of season 6 episode 4, we learned that he was starting to get a better foothold behind bars. Yet, at the same exact time we know that he is not planning to be there forever. Instead, his goal appears to be trying to find a way at all costs in order to ensure that he can use an unlawful search in order to get out of prison and validate his immunity agreement once and for all. This is going to be the top priority at the heart of this upcoming episode and if things don’t work out the way in which he wants, there is a good chance that he could look towards some alternative means of making sure that he gets what he wants.
As for what you can expect for Elizabeth Keen, the simplest tease we can hand your way is this: The investigation is going to continue. She and Jennifer are not slowing down in their efforts to learn the truth about imposter Reddington, and they will probably need to be urgent about this knowing that he could find his way out of prison at any given moment. Even if he stays there, we recognize that there is a good chance that he will realize precisely what is going on around him and take appropriate action as a result of it. This is a man who will do anything to get more information on who betrayed him … provided that he doesn’t already know…
