Following tonight’s installment, the bad news is that you’ll be waiting for two weeks to see what’s next. The good news is that the February 6 episode entitled “Ghosts in the Attic” may prove to be worthwhile. There’s going to be some emotional storylines, some incredibly-dramatic ones, and everything does seem to be relationship-focused. There’s been a lot of conflict between characters as of late and that does seem to continue … not that we can say we’re altogether surprised by it. How can you be surprised when you remember that we are watching a show set at the hospital?

Below, CarterMatt offers up the official Chicago Med season 4 episode 13 synopsis with some more information as to what’s coming up next:

02/06/2019 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Wednesday) : Dr. Halstead withholds some important information from Dr. Manning and she begins to question his suspect behavior. Dr. Choi comes to some difficult conclusions involving April over a patient’s care. An incident in the OR involving Dr. Bekker at the hands of Dr. Rhodes may have serious implications. TV-14

We’re rooting for a lot of characters at the heart of this story, but we would like to think that, at least for Will, he would start to realize that it’s maybe not the best idea in the known world to continue to keep things from Natalie. How many times does he need to learn his lesson? She’s forgiven him for everything that transpired with the FBI operation and understands that he was in a precarious spot. That doesn’t mean that she’s forgotten that he lied to her or wants this to become a pattern.

As for Ethan / April and then Ava / Connor, there are really just some things that need to be stabilized given that we’ve seen all sorts of chaos in these relationships recently. We certainly understand it, largely due to the fact that they’ve been through a lot. We just want to see some of them happier sooner rather than later — heck, we’d be happy if even just one couple within Chicago Med had a little bit more happiness and stability than we’re seeing right now, given that it doesn’t really seem to be something that is altogether attainable.
