The Rookie episode 12 return date, story for Nathan Fillion, cast

Following tonight’s new episode, are you interested in learning the official The Rookie episode 12 return date, coupled with some details on what’s ahead?

The first order of business here telling you when the Nathan Fillion series is going to be back on the air: Tuesday, February 5. It’s the first Tuesday following the State of the Union next week, and this is a chance for the series to really go for broke with it being the start of February sweeps. This is when all of the networks bring out the big guns and because of that, we cannot say we’re all that shocked that they are going hard with a story that is largely all about the rookies finding themselves at the center of an investigation. It’s a fairly common crime-TV trope that there’s an episode that eventually twists things around and puts a target on a cop. What makes this one a little bit different is that seemingly all of the rookie cops are going to have a spotlight on them for at least however long that this particular issue lasts.

Below, CarterMatt has the The Rookie episode 12 synopsis for you and that offers up some more news as to what lies ahead:

The rookies become the prime suspects after it is discovered a large sum of money used in a drug bust has gone missing.

If you love drama, it’s fairly clear as to what’s going to make this episode special. It’s a chance to really see if there’s something about these cops we don’t know already, or a secret that is hiding underneath the surface. It’s certainly possible that this story could be misdirect, where someone is trying to frame John Nolan or one of the other members of the team. The tricky thing about this story is simply this: Investigating the police is not the easiest thing in the world to do, given that these are often the characters who know what to watch for in terms of how an investigator chooses to operate. We have to be prepared for that to be a big component in this episode, especially since almost every single cop could get defensive the moment that they are suggested as a suspect. Think of this way — if you’ve spent the better part of your life preserving justice, you’re going to be rather upset if someone accuses you of something you feel is in opposition to that.

Just remember this entering the episode: If you want to see the show stick around, be sure to watch live! It’s certainly not out of the woods when it comes to its future.
