The Masked Singer video: New Rabbit, Alien, and Raven clues

In preparation of that, Fox has unveiled some of the latest clues in a new video today (which we have for you below), and we thought it’d be fun to look at some of these with a watchful, careful eye.
Rabbit – You get a sight of him with some oranges here — which makes us think mostly of Florida. That aligns with some of the references that are out there that the Rabbit is a member of ‘NSYNC. Think in terms of the straitjacket that is a part of his costume and then also the “It’s Gonna Be Me” reference from the premiere.
Bee – This is the same tennis-ball clue as last time! We still don’t know what the show is trying to say with this, given the fact that she’s already said that she’s a legendary performer who’s been a part of the business for years.
Alien – There seems to be some sort of crystal ball here, but this is still a really weird clue that doesn’t say too much … other than that the performer has some sort of interest perhaps in psychics.
Poodle – What’s with the dumbbells? It’s possible that this is a nod to being some sort of fitness guru or at least someone who sells it on TV. Really, the Poodle is the one that remains the biggest mystery of the group.
Raven – Finally, we have the Raven in front with the cage on her head — but then a shadow in the background without it. This suggests some sort of freedom or redemption, but we’re not sure we really need any more clues when the premiere suggested strongly that this was Ricki Lake — she has gone through a personal tragedy and has experience on daytime television.
Out of this group, we’d say that the Poodle or the Raven could be unmasked next. This will be the first woman to be unmasked this season — the first three have all been men, but we don’t think that the rabbit is going anywhere at the moment — he’s too much of a performer for that. We just hope that the big reveal is fun, even if we see it coming a mile away.
