Suits season 8 episode 11 spoilers: Harvey braces for a rematch

It’s been a rather long wait, but come Wednesday night Suits season 8 episode 11 is finally going to arrive on USA! With that, there’s certainly a lot of good content to expect. You’ve got Louis Litt serving now as managing partner, Harvey and Zane trying to get used to the change, and then also two new name partners in Samantha Wheeler and Alex Williams. This firm is going to have a lot of big voices at the center of it and throughout this midseason premiere episode, we’ll get a good chance to see what happens as a result of it.

Harvey laces up for a rematch against an old foe. Louis struggles to hold the reins of the firm.

What should you be more excited about here than anything? We’d say potentially the idea of a rematch with Harvey, largely due to some of the teasers that are out there suggesting that Daniel Hardman is coming back to the show. Regardless of whether it is happening on this episode or some other point down the line, the fact that the man is coming back should be enough to generate some good conversation. He’s got a lengthy history with the firm and a major ax to grind; what isn’t to like about him being present here again if you like some good Suits conflict?

Of course, we do think it’d be nice soon to learn, one way or another, whether Suits is going to be concluding its run at the end of this season. We love what the show is bringing to the table this year and absolutely do think that there is more story to tell; it just comes down to whether or not USA still feels like the show’s successful and wants to keep it going. Given that there’s an upcoming spin-off, we definitely think there is still some gas left in the tank. (There are some other storylines this season that we haven’t even referenced yet, including what’s been going on with Brian and Katrina Bennett as well as Donna getting a new love interest — one that hopefully will shake things up with her and Harvey.)
