Suits season 8 spoilers: Is Daniel Hardman coming back?

In this new promo (which you can see over at USA’s official website), you can see a number of different surprises pertaining to the show, but the sound of Hardman’s voice at the end is definitely what made our hair most stand on end. This is one of the series’ most-notable villains and we certainly think that he is someone who could bring a heck of a lot of chaos to the show moving forward. (Unless the show is doing some sort of super-dramatic fakeout, it’s really hard to imagine that we’re magically seeing some other villain at the end of this tease.)
What’s also worth noting at present is that Hardman is not the only notable name from Suits seasons past to be coming back for the remaining six episodes this season. You’re also going to be seeing Abigail Spencer make another appearance as Scottie, which is a welcome sight since we know how busy she’s been as of late with a wide array of other projects. We know that Scottie is always going to be a formidable opponent if she’s on the other side of the firm — she can also be an ally, but admittedly a good bit of it is based on context and the situation.
There is also one other thing worth pointing out at the moment, and that is Katrina telling Donna in the promo that she and Brian had a “moment.” What does that mean? Well, we do think that the show is building towards something with these two characters that could be troublesome. For starters, Brian is married; also, if something else happens here it could complicate almost everything that they are doing from a professional point of view.
Luckily, you’re not going to have to wait too much longer in order to see the USA series back on the air — new episodes will arrive a little bit later this month, and based on all indications we’ve got some eventful stories coming down the pipe.
