Supergirl season 4 episode 10 sneak peek: Supergirl, Colonel Haley face off

If you look below (via TVLine), you can see a sneak peek of some of the conflict that is coming within this hour. You’re going to see Supergirl still doing whatever she can in order to help at the scene of an alien incident. However, not too long after that, she gets into a run-in with Colonel Haley, who is clearly upset over the fact that Supergirl is still out in the field after the disintegration of her relationship with the DEO. She’s angry because Supergirl wouldn’t reveal her secret identity and with that, she doesn’t really have all that much control over here.
Basically, what Haley is realizing is that Supergirl isn’t going to stop doing what she wants — eventually, things are going to come to a head here, and it’s probably not going to be pretty.
So what makes Colonel Haley an interesting adversary? Well, a good part of it has to do with the fact that she’s not evil. She’s just got a very specific viewpoint as to how she should make the world better. That’s a view that, unfortunately, is very binary. She doesn’t understand that Supergirl’s merits far outweigh getting to know who she really is. We think that a good bit of what’s going on with her just has to do with bitterness. She didn’t get what she wanted (an alter ego for Supergirl) and because of that, she is misplacing some of her anger.
So what else should we expect?
Well, the first thing that we should say is that the Children of Liberty story is far from over. Agent Liberty is locked away, but this is probably only going to enrage his followers more. We also do know that the Manchester Black storyline is also far from over, and some of his “friends” could end up putting Supergirl in an even more chaotic situation than you would have expected.
Of course, you also have to remember the presence of Red Daughter, who has been teased here and there throughout the show’s run.
