Unfortunately, we cannot say that we have all that much in the way of good news on this subject at present. There is no new installment airing on CBS until next week, with there being a fairly-simple reason for it in turn: The AFC Championship Game. It’s one of the most-watched nights of the year for CBS, but the trade-off to the network getting the show is that they’re going to have to preempt some of their typical lineup.
In general, though, we think that CBS really needs to be prepared for a lot of repeats over the next several weeks. While there is a new episode airing on the network next week, following that you’re going to have to wait until you are on the other side of the Grammys and the Super Bowl to get a little bit more.

Season 10 episode 14 is airing next week, and the title of it is “Smokescreen.” What can you expect to see over the course of it? Basically, what CBS chooses to hype up more than anything else here is the very start of it. They don’t give you much in the way of substantial teasers about the larger story, but they promise that there is an unforgettable, action-packed introduction. We just hope that this ends up living up to some of the hype that we’ve got for it in our mind.
Beyond this episode, we imagine that there will be a number of other significant, action-packed cases. Yet, at the same time we’re also hoping for a few other things. For example, it’d be great to get some interesting cases that push Sam and Callen to the limit; also, we’d of course love to see Deeks and Kensi get married this season, though there aren’t any guarantees of that very thing. The show still does have a nice run of stories still to come, so we’ll just have to cross our fingers and hope that the midseason return lives up to some of the expectations that we’ve got in our mind.
