Grey’s Anatomy season 15 episode 12 could offer Meredith ‘clarity’

As a jumping-off point, let’s go ahead and share now the official Grey’s Anatomy season 15 episode 12 synopsis:
“Girlfriend in a Coma” – A patient gives Meredith some clarity on her dating situation around the holidays. The strain on Bailey and Ben’s marriage comes to a head. Meanwhile, Betty drops a bomb on Owen and Amelia on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, FEB. 7 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.
When comes to Meredith’s story arc, we’ve been pretty consistent on the fact that no matter who she picks, it has to make sense. We think that she will give both Link and DeLuca a chance, and will see what both of them bring to the table before figuring things out. She’s also going to be reasonably patient because she has so much to think about in between her career and her kids. Yet, at the same exact time she’s also not someone who will string someone along for the heck of it.
Also, it’s going to be interesting to get Jason George stopping by in this episode as Ben given the fact that we’re not really going to have all that much in the way of information on the Station 19 gang until March, when that show returns with new episodes. Our feeling is that when the spin-off does return, it’ll quickly address the fall finale cliffhanger and take a jump of a few months forward. It’s going to be rough for that show to not be able to address some of the strain between Bailey and Ben directly over there, but we’re glad to get more insight on it here. We’re just not sure that there’s going to ever be some sort of clear resolution while Ben continues to work as a firefighter.
Finally, the surprise when it comes to Betty could be almost anything, just because of the fact that she’s young, impressionable, and prone to getting herself in trouble. Of course, we’d love to think that she’s going to learn from some of the mistakes of her past, but because she is so young, there’s no guarantee that she will.
