Colonel Haley is not like your typical villain on the show, mostly because of one simple fact — she’s actually not a villain at all. She’s not someone out to cause some sort of problem for the people of Earth, but she has a particular vision of how the DEO and its operations should be run — that includes being upfront about every part of who you are, including your secret identity.

The promo below focuses mostly on Haley’s desperation to find out who Supergirl really is, largely out of frustration that Kara chose to leave the DEO than reveal it. That’s the sort of thing that is of course going to make someone curious, and we suspect that in the aftermath of that, Haley us going to do whatever she can to get the truth out. Of course, we don’t think that telling Alex about the plan is a good move! There is a bit of comedy in here just because Haley seems so oblivious to an important truth that is right in front of her, but we suppose that there’s no real way for her to know unless someone were to tell her.

We just wonder whether or not Haley is going to let this go soon, or if the DEO could eventually end up turning on her at large. While the Agent Liberty saga has rattled people, we’re not sure that most of the agents will want to spend their time worrying about who Supergirl really is when there are some larger problems that do need to be attended to overall. Take, for example, people who are interested in harming aliens or damaging the relationship between them and humans. There are just some other more important priorities — just because Agent Liberty is behind bars does not mean that the Children of Liberty are gone from the city! As a matter of fact, they may be more empowered than ever.
