Celebrity Big Brother 2: Tiffany Pollard, Johnny Bananas on casting snubs

So what do the two have to say about it after the fact? Both parties have spoken out about the subject in one way or another, and you can see some of that below. Clearly, both were aware of the rumors out there — neither specifically mentions how or why they weren’t cast, but there’s a pretty simple reason for that. It does behoove both of them to keep their options open in the future.
As for why CBS didn’t go with these two reality TV stars in particular, we don’t necessarily think that it’s the broadcast network snubbing MTV. Instead, we think it probably has more to do with either money or accessing certain demographics — such as people who already aren’t going to watch the show. we know that The Challenge and Big Brother in particular already have a big crossover audience, and maybe that had something to do with not casting Bananas. We don’t really buy it, though, mostly because we’re not sure how some of the stars cast over him are going to bring in more viewers.
Do we think that one of them could be cast in the future?
Absolutely, largely because we think that CBS isn’t going to shut the door on anyone and over time, they may be looking out for a number of different people. For now, it seems like The Real Housewives franchise is what they’re looking towards for reality stars, but there’s no guarantee that things are going to stay that way forever. we wouldn’t be shocked if down the line, they choose to go in a different direction. Pollard’s great since she represents a significant chapter in reality TV history. Also, we know that she’s really entertaining still because of what she did on the British Celebrity Big Brother in the past.
