Last Man Standing season 7 episode 12 return date: ‘Cabin Pressure’

The bad news at the moment is simply that you’ll be waiting for a little while following tonight to get more episodes: Think in terms of February 1. While Fox has a full 22-episode order for season 7 of the sitcom, they are clearly taking their time putting some of these episodes out there. They want to obviously make sure that there are no super-long hiatuses later on in the season, which we understand when it comes to trying to make the most of the episodes that they have.
For a little while, we felt as though Last Man Standing was going to be better off actually having these episodes air a little bit later down the road, mostly because it would afford them an opportunity to come back on the other side of a Tribune Media – Charter Spectrum agreement in case it took a long time. Yet, that deal was resolved earlier today and all local Fox affiliates are back in transmissions now on Spectrum’s service.
So what is coming on Last Man Standing season 7 episode 12 when it airs? CarterMatt has the official synopsis for you below:
Mike and Vanessa take the girls to the family cabin, where Mike challenges them to literally unplug for the weekend and stay off their phones. Meanwhile, for a school assignment, Jen shadows Kyle at work in the all-new “Cabin Pressure” episode of LAST MAN STANDING airing Friday, Feb. 1 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (LMS-712) (TV-14 L, V)
We like the idea of this episode a lot since it seems really true to the show’s central message: A guy who is desperately trying to enforce his way of life on the world, only to realize along the way that it’s not the same world he remembered as a kid or a young adult. It’s also about family and the ways in which people connect. While we’re not entirely sure Mike is going to get what he wants in an unplugged trip to a cabin, we do think that there’s probably a reasonable compromise that can be reached.
