MacGyver season 3 episode 12 sneak peek: See Bridget Regan in action!

There’s a good bit of fun content coming on MacGyver season 3 episode 12, and it starts with a notable guest star in Bridget Regan. The former The Last Ship actress is playing a master thief with a double life named Charlotte Cole in the episode, and we’ve got a new sneak peek now of what you can expect from her.

We think that this preview does a good job of showing some of Cole’s skills, whether it be her ability to think fast, to be calculating in the field, and to take risks for the sake of completing objectives. We cannot exactly say that she’s one of the good guys (remember the words “master thief” here), but she is at least morally ambiguous enough to work with the Phoenix Foundation when she gets a job that she realizes could have deadly implications for other people. She may be one of these people who operates under a code and if a number of people end up dead, there’s suddenly not going to be anyone for her to steal from. She’s probably the sort of thief who plays the long game and does her best to try and think ahead.

Before we say too much else, it does feel like this episode is going to be one of the ones without Jack unless he turns up in surprising fashion somewhere — yet, in some ways we have to get used to it since George Eads is near the end of his time on the show now. He does still have a little more story to tell with MacGyver, though, so don’t assume that we are nearing the end of the road with this story just yet.

In getting back to this episode, the sneak peek does give you a sense that when it comes to the Phoenix team managing to make something out of nothing, this is one of the best ones out there. The team’s going to get very creative infiltrating a facility, and this scene proves that 1) Mac, Charlotte, and Riley are very good when it comes to going undercover and 2) that you can apparently hide all sorts of important stuff in a sea of cleaning supplies and no one will notice.
