HBO teases Game of Thrones, Watchmen, Big Little Lies footage & more
Want some more evidence of this very thing? Then take a look below, as the premium-cable network is offering you up a first look at some of their upcoming programming, whether it be Game of Thrones, Watchmen, Big Little Lies, or many of the other shows that are coming up across the board over the next twelve months.
While we know that there are a lot of great shows featured in here, the vast majority of the attention is going to be on the tiny Game of Thrones clip. How could it not be? In this, Sansa seems fine to hand over the reigns of Winterfell to Daenerys … though we’re not sure that she is thrilled about it, even if she does care about Jon and trusts him to a certain degree. This dynamic is going to be very much exciting throughout the final season, especially depending on whatever is going to be happening with Jon and Daenerys romantically. Remember that Jon and Daenerys are technically related, but they aren’t aware of that and are in the middle of a romantic relationship. If they ever start to find out some of that, don’t you think that it will cause a very interesting reaction? We absolutely think so.
Of course, there is going to be a lot of chaos coming on Game of Thrones as well — how could there not be when you think about what’s coming? You’ve got a battle over the Iron Throne hidden somewhere underneath the surface of a White Walker showdown.
The premiere of the final Game of Thrones season is going to come in April. Meanwhile, be prepared to see Big Little Lies at some point in the late spring / early summer and then also Watchmen a little bit later in the year. The comic adaptation is extremely anticipated, and we do think that HBO could need it in order to keep whatever momentum that they have from some of their other shows earlier on in the year.
