America’s Got Talent: The Champions episode 1: Susan Boyle, Sofie Dossi, more performing
Over the past several weeks, we’ve shared with you teases about the full roster of contestants; here, we can at least give you a sense of some of the contestants who are going to be taking part in the show.

Susan Boyle – She’s obviously going to be the big sell going into the episode — after all, we’re talking about one of the most-famous people in the entire franchise. She’s the biggest lock to advance.
Sara & Hero – One of the most-famous dog-trick acts out there for America’s Got Talent. While we’ve seen bigger dog acts, this one is more about an individual connection and creativity.
Sofie Dossi – She’s an acrobat and a contortionist all in once, though obviously the thing that she’s best known for is shooting a bow-and-arrow with her foot.
Preacher Lawson – He’s a gifted comedian who tells jokes at a rapid pace, while also giving you some perspective into his own world and life at the same time. He does a lot with a short period of time.
Alex Magala – A famed sword-swallower, and more than that, one of the most prolific contestants out there in the entire Got Talent franchise. The guy has been more or less everywhere over the past few years!
Justice Crew – A super-successful dance crew who was on Australia’s Got Talent. They’re probably not going to be super-familiar to most viewers at home, but they’re really entertaining and should offer a nice change of pace.
The Clairvoyants – Their big skill is in mystifying the audience and finding ways to successfully read your mind. They’re slick, polished, and have a different brand of magic than what you typically see.
Vicki Barbolak – She was just on this past season of America’s Got Talent and she and Preacher will offer up a showdown for comedians! Vicki is funny, but will she has the same success on this series?
Bianca Ryan – The very first winner of America’s Got Talent. We’re mostly just excited to see how she fares and sounds like via a modern version of the show.
Uzeyer Novruzov – His skill is ladder-balancing, and he is really good at it. There’s nobody else who can do what he does, but this is still not the sort of act who ends up winning this show.
