MacGyver season 3 episode 11 video: Is Mac going to shoot … Jack?

MacGyver season 3 episode 11

MacGyver season 3 episode 11 is airing on CBS come Friday night, and just from the promo below, it almost feels more like a horror / torture movie than the same show that we’ve seen for the past couple of years.

This episode is, at least based on the news that is out there, going to start off innocently enough with Mac and Jack trying to get a break from the recent work chaos in Las Vegas. However, eventually the two are going to find themselves captured by someone from their past and locked in a room together. From there, it almost seems like they are forced to play some sort of dark, twisted game in which one of them is forced to shoot the other. You see here Jack beginning Mac to pull the trigger, but then the preview ends before anything else happens.

Before the entire MacGyver fandom suffers some sort of head explosion, one thing that we will point out here is that this may not necessarily be the end for George Eads. While the actor may be departing the show, that doesn’t mean that he is doing so yet, or that his character is being killed off. We do wonder, though, whether or not going through an experience like this would be enough to inspire Jack to leave. Based on what we know about this guy, he’s not the sort of person who would just walk away from the Phoenix Foundation unless A) he was actually dead or B) he had a really good reason to do so. Hopefully, we’ll have some sort of worthy send-off to this character no matter when it happens … but the idea of Mac shooting him is probably a little traumatic for this show. That’s the sort of thing where, if we were Mac,

There’s one other bit of news worth noting now about this episode: Seamus Dever, who you may know as Ryan from Castle (he also recently appeared in Take Two), will have a guest-starring role in this episode. As of right now, though, there are no further details about who he will play. Personally, we found find it rather fascinating in the event that he was the bad guy at the center of this just because it’s such a turn from what we know him to be.
