While it would certainly be nice to get more of LL Cool J, Chris O’Donnell, and the rest of the cast on CBS tonight, unfortunately that’s just not what we are getting. There is no installment coming up until January 6, and there is a pretty simple reason for that: It’s the holidays! As a network, CBS understandably doesn’t want to put themselves in a position where the ratings slip and then they have a harder time renewing the show for a season 11 down the road. There’s just not all that many viewers around at the moment, given that so many people are out shopping and doing a number of other things. There are a lot of people out there who have a little bit of a break from television this time of year and we don’t blame them for wanting to do some other things.
When NCIS: Los Angeles does return with new episodes down the road, it’s clear that there will be a number of interesting stories for them to take on.
The future for Callen and Anna – Is there a way to get her out of prison for good? Judging from the fact that the producers continue to find ways to bring this character back, we have to at least imagine that there is at least a small chance this could happen.
The Deeks – Kensi wedding – We don’t think that it’s happening immediately, but all signs at least for now suggest that we could be getting it by the end of the season. Why not continue to build towards this?
Is Sam considering getting out into the dating world again? – That’s a question that we really started to wonder in the latter episodes this fall. It’s been a while now since he lost Michelle.
Could Hetty be back soon? – This is mostly just a matter of when Linda Hunt is able to come back to work again, but no matter when it is, we know that she would be embraced with open arms by the cast, the crew, and also of course viewers. We certainly do miss the character.
