The Grey’s Anatomy season 15 episode 9 title certainly feels appropriate

As of right now, ABC is keeping things rather quiet on Grey’s Anatomy season 15 episode 9, which is airing come the middle of January. In a way, we get it — there’s no clear reason to rush things along with this story, especially since we are so many weeks out. Also, this tends to be a show that is relatively light on spoilers in general. We’re just happy to have at least the title for the episode to share within this story.

According to a new report from SpoilerTV, the title for the episode is “Shelter from the Storm” — which feels appropriate for many different reasons. given that we’re coming off of a fall finale that featured a devastating windstorm at the center of it, this title infers that there’s going to be a chance for some characters to at least have a relative sense of peace. If not this, maybe the title is an inference to a search for peace, to characters longing to find some sort of either physical or metaphorical respite. We certainly do know that there are still some characters still in danger — beyond just that, it seems as though we’re entering a blackout.

As many of you likely know already, Grey’s Anatomy has a tendency to take its episode titles from song lyrics. This time around, “Shelter from the Storm” is a Bob Dylan song — basically, you can’t get a better song for reference. We don’t necessarily think that this episode is in many way tied to the song on a greater level — they rarely are — but it’s still a beautiful way to think about this episode in advance. This episode will serve as a valuable kick-off to what lies ahead this season, and there are many things worth thinking about whether you are looking at the state of things with Meredith’s romantic life, what Owen is going to do after learning about Teddy’s pregnancy, or where Levi and Nico are going to go from here after opening up to one another and getting physical in a way that they hadn’t beforehand.

On the other side of this episode, can we at least hope that the windstorm is at least over?
