FBI episode 11 spoilers: First details on show’s 2019 return
This first episode back is entitled “Identity Crisis,” and the official FBI episode 11 synopsis below gives you a reasonably-good sense right now as to precisely what’s coming up:
“Identity Crisis” – When a judge and her daughter are murdered after she sentenced a man to life in prison, Maggie and OA search for the killer behind a possible retaliation. Dana has a vested interest in this case as she has a history with the victim, on FBI, Tuesday, Jan. 8 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
We don’t think we have to really spell out here why in the world this case is, in particular, such an enormous challenge. We’re talking here about someone who could easily be targeted for a wide array of different reasons. It’s possible that someone close to the man she sentenced to prison is responsible for the retaliation, but at the same time there are likely plenty of other people this judge has put away over time. This is what makes being in this profession so difficult and absolutely why it is not the right job for everyone. There are a lot of difficulties that come along with it and a number of different issues that need to be tackled from an investigative standpoint.
Insofar as an interesting mystery, FBI episode 11 could very well deliver. Beyond all of that, this is a chance to learn something more about Dana — this is one of the biggest things that the show is trying to enforce on the rest of the season under the leadership of Derek Haas and Rick Eid. FBI is a series about federal law enforcement, but it’s also about the people with the badges and what led to them being in this position in the first place.
