NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 12 video: What happened to Valerie Torres?

Below, you can see via CBS a quick look at the new case-of-the-week plot, one revolving around a woman named Valerie Torres (probably not related to Nick Torres of NCIS, but speculate away!). She is the chief of logistics for a naval weapons station and when she collapses on the job, questions surface as to why exactly it happened. Was this the result of something nefarious, a stressful work environment, or some medical issue that was previously undisclosed? All of these different options are on the table, and it is because of what she oversees that the local NCIS field office is at the center of the case. If it turns out to be a medical issue, then they can step more out of the way; however, getting Torres out of the way could mean something big for terrorists or someone else who wants to take advantage of the station being in a slightly more vulnerable state.
Insofar as sneak peeks go, it’s clear that this one is more exposition-based in nature than most — it’s designed to further along the story of the episode and we definitely do understand if there are people out there who would prefer to see something a little bit meatier and substantial. We do feel like we’re going to have a chance to see some personal stuff within this episode, as well, for a few different characters. We’re hoping that there is at least some sort of update within this episode on the subject of Callen and Anna after her medical crisis in the fall finale. Meanwhile, CBS has unveiled already (read the full synopsis for this episode over here) that you will have a chance to read more about what’s coming in terms of Deeks and Kensi in this episode. They’re going to be thinking about their honeymoon, which at least gets them one step closer to the wedding. Do we actually know when said ceremony will happen? Not yet, but the fact that they are at least having conversations on the subject remains an encouraging sign.
Hopefully, CBS will give out at least a few more details on this particular episode before we get around to it airing.
