Fuller House season 5: Five potential stories to explore, if renewed

At the moment, alas there is no news on a Fuller House season 5 renewal. Is there reason for concern? Absolutely. For starters, there are some of the stories that came out before the premiere suggesting that season 4 would be the last. Beyond that, there’s also the simple fact that Netflix has been swinging the executioner’s ax like nobody’s business for the past few weeks. Fans of Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Daredevil, The Good Cop, American Vandal, and Everything Sucks! certainly know what this feeling is like.

For now, though, we’re going to play a what-if game. What if Fuller House is renewed? What stories could the show’s producers bring to the table? Based on the end of season 4, we’ve got five different suggestions!

Stephanie and Jimmy’s parenthood – This is a big one, since we have an opportunity to explore both their relationship as parents but then also as an engaged couple. Could there be a wedding by the end of the season? It’d certainly make for a fun storyline.

DJ and Steve’s future – While these two are not at the moment engaged, Fuller House is the sort of crazy show that would certainly explore the idea of doing some sort of double-wedding. If the show gets a season 5 and it turns out that this is the final one, we certainly hope that they could get notice on it in advance. After all, that would enable them to have an opportunity to plan some sort of epic double-wedding series finale. Wouldn’t that be fun?

What’s next for Kimmy and Fernando? – It’s time for a new pursuit for the two, since so much of the story for season 4 was about her pregnancy. We’d be happy to learn more about Fernando’s career or seeing Kimmy take on some sort of new hobby.

Stephanie finds some success – We know that she’s starting to find some success as a children’s entertainer under the name Aunt Steph, but what would happen if she actually gets her music career off the ground a little bit? How would that impact both her and some of the other characters? It’s at least worth exploring to some degree.

Jackson and Ramona looking towards their future – They’ve both been to prom, so with this in mind, the two are at a point now where they have to start thinking a little bit more about the remainder of their lives and what they want to do moving forward. Why not focus on that, and then also on DJ and Kimmy as they start to see their kids actually growing up a little bit?
