MacGyver season 3 episode 12 spoilers: Bridget Regan guest stars!

“Fence + Suitcase + Americium-241” – The Phoenix teams up with a woman who’s a soccer mom by day but a master thief by night to catch one of her contacts, an underworld criminal, who has hired her to steal a dirty bomb, on MACGYVER, Friday, Jan. 11 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

While it is not 100% confirmed in here that Regan’s character of Charlotte Cole is said master thief, this makes a certain degree of sense — she’s a notable guest star so wouldn’t she play one of the most-important characters? This also does bring back some memories of her White Collar role, which we certainly do appreciate since she had such an impact on Neal Caffrey’s life on that show. With MacGyver, this certainly does feel like the sort of role that she could come back and play again. This is one of the things that makes this show what it is — there’s a good recurring roster of people out there who, depending on the story, could come back and be important in one capacity or another.

Could we get a side story in this episode?

It feels probable, but we’re left to speculate on it given that there is very little information about anything beyond the main story here. We’re just hoping for some great character moments across the board. Eventually, signs point towards a story signaling George Eads’ exit from the show, but the only news that is out there, at least for now, is that he will be departing by the end of the third season. That doesn’t mean that it will be happening immediately, but this is at least something to keep in your mind.
